Description
Open Pollination (O.P.) seeds from Hosta Sagae. Basically, as I read it, this classic, giant hosta is simply an edge variegated form of Hosta fluctuans. Big plants, grey green leaves, thick to heavy substance, that’s what this will bring to the table as a pod parent. Now to see what the bees brought to the flowers!
Can’t say this normally blooms much or gives us much seed from my recollections, but 2021 was an odd year where things that don’t normally produce seed DID, yet things that were normally reliable were often kind of less productive. Of course, the rinky dink one on the hill under the maple trees is where our seeds came from…the massive fat and happy one produced nothing!
Limited supply of seeds from the 2021 harvest, no reserve inventory here.
