Description
Open Pollination (O.P.) seeds from Hosta Lakeside Banana Bay. I’m going to be curious to see what happens here; Lakeside Banana Bay is a gold-centered, green-margined variety. As we’ve share before, light/white center variegation tends to produce “fatal whites”. But this isn’t white, it’s gold, and the seeds looked really nice. So, take a gamble, you might get something really interesting, and at least I’m going to lean a little more towards the gold side of things in my predictions. But, truly, we won’t know until we try. Be sure to leave a review after you’ve germinated some!
The other thing that Lakeside Banana Bay has going for it is its somewhat small size. My specimen isn’t even “on display”…it’s actually sitting in one of the holding beds, in a two gallon pot, completely filling the thing up! I suppose I need to find it a forever home somewhere in the garden!
