Description
Open Pollination (O.P.) seeds from Hosta Piedmont Special, which is a dark-green-centered leaf with a wide gold edge. A Sieboldiana-type, and a sport of Piedmont Gold. Some nice puckering and waviness to the leaves at maturity. This is a strong grower here in the garden and matured into a really attractive plant.
As a reminder, variegated parents are generally likely to only produce solid offspring, but knowing the background and the diversity of plants around it, I’m hard-pressed to say what colors to expect. Could be a mix of all three base types! Grow some up and leave a review!
